Editorial Policy & Corrections
यह नीति बताती है कि TimeNews पर ख़बरें कैसे तैयार और प्रकाशित की जाती हैं, और गलती होने पर हम उसे कैसे सुधारते हैं।
Accuracy and fairness
- We report facts we can verify, attribute claims to their source, and avoid speculation presented as news.
- We give people and organisations named in critical stories a fair chance to respond.
- We clearly separate news from opinion, and sponsored content is always labelled.
- We do not publish the identity of victims of sexual offences or minors in conflict with the law, in line with Indian law.
Sources and attribution
Our local coverage comes from our own reporters, official government releases and public records. When a story is based on another publication’s or agency’s reporting, we name that source in the story.
Use of AI tools
Some stories, mainly national, international and subject-area news (world, business, technology, science, health, sports, entertainment and lifestyle), are translated and summarised into Hindi with the help of AI tools from credited public sources. Such stories:
- always name the original source at the end of the story (for example “स्रोत: BBC News”);
- are published automatically, so they may contain translation errors; please report any error and we will correct it;
- use our own illustrative images unless the source’s images are free to reuse (for example, NASA).
AI is never used to invent quotes, facts or events, and our own local reporting is written by our team.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, we fix it as soon as possible.
A significant correction is noted at the end of the story with the date.
To report an error, write to us through the contact page or email [email protected] with the link to the story and what is wrong.
Complaints and grievances
Complaints about our content are handled as described on our DMCA & Grievance page.
Independence
Advertisers and sponsors have no say in our news coverage. Advertising is handled separately from editorial decisions.
